WOW! Huge crowd turns out in Walnut Creek, CA - Breaking News

Hello from Walnut Creek, CA - a community in the East Bay of the San Francisco metropolitan area. So in the sea of liberalism stood an island of patriotic Americans rallying together today united in the effort to advance the tea party movement.

There's also a crucial Congressional Special Election coming up here on November 3rd which features David Harmer (a Republican who strongly opposes government-run healthcare) up against California Lieutenant Governor, John Garamendi (a Democrat who is a big advocate of government-run healthcare and the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda of big government, bailouts, higher taxes and out-of-control spending).

Harmer spoke at this evening's rally to an enthusiastic crowd - perhaps the most enthusiastic crowd we've had since the kickoff event in San Diego, CA. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy - we sure enjoyed the great people of Walnut Creek:

  4. Great pictures of Walnut Creek, they are representative of American Patriots and a strong message they are sending to Washington. JUDGEMENT DAY IS COMING.

  5. How many House Democrats will follow Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer over the cliff in 2010? If we could make RED paint out of the WISDOM of this 111th Congress we would not have enough to paint the BUTT of a REDBUG.

  6. Glad to see the turnout was good. I think there would have been quite a few more if it weren't for the Bay Bridge traffic. Our group couldn't make the drive after work from San Jose.

  9. I was there - a friend and I drove two hours from the San Mateo area to be there and then the same way back...

When I got home I flipped on the local news - which I rarely watch anymore - and here is more reason not to watch them anymore - or else to write them and call them - you decide!

There was not ONE SECOND of air time given to covering the event in Walnut Creek that I could find on KGO, KPIX, KRON or KTVU. There was excessively boring coverage from multiple angles about the closure of the Bay Bridge - there was a special segment on luxury beds for cats and dogs but not one word to cover and inform people about Dave Harmer, John Dennis, about the hundreds and hundreds of us braving the cold and wind and leaving work early, missing our kids soccer practice to come out and stand up for our country against a governmet take over - a loss of freedom and the crushing debt burden we face for generations.

All of us there - physically or in spirit - we need to continue to show up and be loud and proud.

  10. It's great to see people getting active. The only question in my mind is what took so long? The expansion of government and reckless spending under eight years of the Bush administration far exceeds anything on Obama's agenda. The bailouts were necessary due to the refusal of Bush to do anything to regulate Wall Street. Obama is only cleaning up the mess.

  11. We attended, then had dinner about 4 blocks away. We walked by the KTVU TV remote truck - sitting there. Seems they drove from SFO to Walnut Creek then did a 10pm remote live to tell everyone it took them over 2 hours becasue of the bridge outage. They sat there blocks away from this event for more than 2 hours AND NEVER Reported on it. I wrote the GM at KTVU and never heard a word back.
Met many great Americans - just know few work at the mainstream media...

  14. This is fantastic. Politicians are like cockroaches can't stand the light, for congress and the president that light is the light of public opinion. That is why they are pushing the Internet Neutrality Act on us.
