Woohoo!!! Just wait for the update - we're in Medford!

We just arrived in Medford, OR. We were running about 1 hour late, the weather is yucky - rain and fog have moved in.

But the event here is amazing.

Wait until you see the pictures, folks. It's fantastic! This tour keeps building more and more momentum and we're so very excited.

THANK YOU to all of you who are helping us get the message heard across this nation. It's working, folks!

  4. Why aren't these happening in Illinois? We are especially unhappy here in our state with all of the Washington mess and the completely obsene spending and shenannigans by Palosi, Reid and all the rest. We also want to have an opportunity to support the tea party movement as well because it's a long while yet until we can vote everyone of these horrible Democrats out.

  7. How many House Democrat's will follow Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer over the cliff in 2010? We will see a HUGE TRANSITION in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES in 2010. This 111th Congress are not "WISDOM KEEPERS" but "STUPIDITY KEEPERS" INSTEAD.

  9. Hi everyone - just a quick note about Illinois and Upstate New York. Wish we could be there on this tour. On the first Tea Party Express we did rallies in Bloomington, IL and New Lenox, IL (which was our largest rally of the tour until D.C.) and then also did a rally in Albany, NY (just south of NY-23).

On this tour we deliberately went to different cities because we're trying to engage as many Americans as possible and maximize our impact!

Bear with us - we all have families and as it is we're gone on the road for 20 days and working morning, noon and night - and frequently overnight each day.

So we're hitting as many places as we can on this 7,000 mile road journey, and holding 38 rallies.

  10. I respect your movement... But it's a bit late, 8 years of republican(t) war mongering and deregulation got us into this mess. Now you want to hold tea parties? 1.5 trillion dollars spent on an ill-advised war and now you guys want to protests about over spending and big government. I know of 3rd world countries with free health care(look it up). We're in a 1st world country and I'm more terrified of medical bills than actual illness. Finally a party wants to seriously tackle health care and out of control insurance premiums... Now you want protest?

  11. This Nation cannot continue to put our trust in the President of the United States or the Congress. They have proven many times over they could care less about public opinion. This 111th Congress if allowed to continue will bankrupt this Nation. Obama has absolutely no experience whatsoever to make decisions concerning any Bills this Nation has to pay for. Call your Congressman and let them know if they support Obama we will not support them.

  13. I just want to encourage ALL of you to continue doing what you are doing.
    This IS our time...
and no "Chris' (above), it is NEVER TOO LATE to begin fighting to take back our Republic from the GOVERNMENT whomever is in charge. So, get onboard with Constitutionalist and join the fight to take back our Country from those, Democrat OR Republicans, who are taking our United States of American d o w n .....!! Tea Parties are only one way of drawing attention.
Do what YOU can do to help.

  14. Hey Cris take your blinders off.(no pun intended) This admin is taking us down the road to total control on every aspect of our lives, I can't afford our medical ins every month, but I make it happen, if you want freedom and quality health care
you have to pay something for it. Its bad enough sitting in an emergency room now, I can't imagine how long you will have to wait when they take over control of my health. Can you give me an answer why The Dem's won't allow us to by ins over state lines which without any question would reduce the premium.

  16. Now is the time for all good men to stand up and be counted; but why is JOE WILSON the only Congressman standing up? Is Joe the only HONEST Politician in Washington; That's what it looks like.

  19. Hi there Portland... I'm heading out to the event now! Right now it's not raining but there is heavy fog. Dress warm and for wet weather. It will not stop us from standing together and letting our voices be heard! It's on to Puyallup in the convoy this afternoon! God Bless America!

  20. Cheif1gs insurance premiums only differ as much as 15% state to stay. You're pretty much paying the same whether you're from FL or NY. With health care 3 things are driving up costs to the public:
    1. The insurers themselves - a viable, better word vigorous public option will force private insurers to compete with premium prices and insurance packages.
    2. Delinquent payments - Ok, if you don't have health insurance you have to pay out of pocket right? Check your last medical bill, honestly could you or would you have been able to pay that w/o health insurance. So think of the 12million who don't have insurance. Long story short hospital are playing finacial catch up on outstanding payments by passing on to future patrons.
Mal practice suits - we need some kind of TORT reform. If I'm a doctor and I have to shell out more beans for mal-practice insurance, then I'll need more beans from my patients.
P.S. Illegal immigrants are here, they've been here since we 1st passed immigration laws. They help drive up the cost also, let them pay for their own health care. Document them with biometrics and put them in the public option care system... 2 birds with one stone.
